MUSTANG  EXPLORATION
TREK GRADE – MODERATE.
Being Close to Tibet.
22 Days Trip.

The legendary region of Mustang in northwest central Nepal is a geographic extension of the Tibetan plateau with the same wind swept mountain landscape and fascinating Buddhist culture. Untouched by the outside world till it was opened to trekkers from 1992. Mustang preserves intact the splendor and tradition of old Tibet, the famous walled city of Lo-Manthang is indeed fascinating to see and takes you back to the medieval period.Mustang trek is a rare chance to visit a region where traditional life continues and virtually untouched by the outside world.

Where are you going?

Everest is a name that conjures up the Himalayas for most people, yet the bulk of the Annapurna range and the shapely spire of Machapuchare (Fishtail) rising just north of the town of Pokhara are like magnets to the majority of trekkers in Nepal. Safely enshrouded in the Annapurna Conservation Area, the area is one of startling contrast in landforms and populated by an amazing array of varied ethnic peoples. In a relatively small area, the region offers some of the best trekking anywhere in the world and certainly one of the most popular treks among trekkers who want to do trek leisurely. Your trek will take you through this magical area of locals' villages. The Annapurna, one of the world's most awe inspiring sight and along with the other spectacular peaks that surround you, it can be truly called one of the natural wonders of the world and perfect site for your trip.

Some people have the idea that trekking is a lot of sweat and no fun, yet nothing could be further from the truth. Days are designed so that they are challenging, yet not exhaustive. The companionship of other trekkers of a similar frame of mind, plus the excitement and happiness of our Sherpa and crew create great company and many happy times. Your trek is your holiday and Himalventure aims to help you enjoy it as much as possible, not to wear you into the ground. If you want or need anything at any time, all you have to do is ask and we will, when able, organize it for you.

Outline Itinerary:
Day 1 :  ( Arrive Kathmandu,1330m )
Flying into Kathmandu along the northern border of Nepal on a clear day is in itself an unforgettable experience, with the entire Nepalese Himalayas sprawling out below you. Take a deep breath though and be ready to confront the confusion of Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport. After passing through immigration you will proceed downstairs and collect your baggage, load up your trolley and go through Custom inspection or just take the green channel, if you do not have anything to declare. You do not have to pay anyone to guide through Custom, as it is the same as any other airport. After Customs, you will pass out of the restricted area and into the passenger pick-up area outside the building.  You will see a signboard with your name on it. Please identify yourself and we will take care of you from here. After transferring to your hotel, then be given a briefing on all relevant aspects of your holiday by guide. This includes all "Do's and Don’ts” while in Kathmandu and on the trek. You will complete the application for your Trekking & Rafting Permit.
